About Us

Ufukça Tur & Seyahat was founded in Kadıköy in 2001 by a team of three. For its first years the agency ran only Istanbul-departure coach tours; from 2008 it moved to international tours by air and from 2015 to boutique tours focused on culture and gastronomy. Today it is a TÜRSAB group-A licensed agency serving about 9,000 travellers a year in 38 countries and regions.

Our tour philosophy

A tour's quality is measured not by the number of places seen but by the time spent in each. We therefore design programmes with at most two main stops a day and leave about 90 minutes of free time daily. Groups are kept between 8 and 24 people so the guide can attend to everyone and waiting in hotels and restaurants is reduced.

Responsible tourism

We buy from local businesses and prioritise regional producers in meals and accommodation. Since 2023 we have eliminated single-use plastic on all domestic tours and give every traveller a refillable water bottle. One per cent of each tour's fee goes to a local cultural-heritage restoration.

Our team and guides

Ufukça's staff of 46 includes 14 tour advisers, six visa specialists, nine operations staff and 11 licensed guides. Our guides are licensed within the national guide chambers and receive annual first-aid, crisis-management and customer-experience training.
