Practical information
The İstanbul – Denpasar flight with connection takes about 15–17 hours. An e-visa or visa on arrival and the Bali entry tax apply to Turkish citizens. March – October is the dry season. Renting a scooter is common but requires an international licence and insurance cover is limited; our tours use chauffeured vehicles.
Food and shopping
Nasi goreng, satay and fresh tropical fruit are typical. Wood carvings, batik fabrics and coffee (local arabica, not kopi luwak) are possible gifts.
